Will's Weekend

Thanks so much for coming this weekend for Will's blessing! It was a fun weekend and so nice to have everyone there. (Tawny and Andrew, we missed you and can't wait to see you soon!). Here are a few cute pictures from the weekend...

Will's Baby Blessing!

Yesterday (Sunday the 6th), we were lucky enough to fly to California for the day to visit one of our newest Nephews, William for his baby blessing! -- (yes, I am finally an AUNT!!) It was such a great blessing and is always so fun to get the family together!
Way to go Nate and Nicole, he is ADORABLE!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!

Daddy, Skipper, Tye & kids, and I strated off 2008 in style! A trip to the lake obviously, in which the boys were dressed in the hottest fashion BUCK MASTERS. We hooked up a black inner tube behind the fourwheeler and took it out over the ice and "sledded" ! It was great fun and then daddy decided it would be fun to build a jump with the plow on the other four wheeler. Great idea till it got to be rather wide and tall and even our bright brother skippy decided that it was a bit stupid to go off but tye kinda dared dad and dad said he would go over it slow nad so skip drove him and well lets just say the video says it all! He seems to be fine but time and perhaps an xray will tell!!! Hope all is well with everyone!

Yes we are still alive...though we dropped off the face of the earth (after our wedding) as a regular blog poster-er I have now returned and vow to post (atleast) more pictures so that the family might be aware of the exciting activities (haha) in our lives.

Bored Bored Bored!!!

So I'm sitting here at work bored out of my ever loving mind! I have been here for ummm... say five hours and still have three more hours to go! AHHHHH I seriously can not sit here in this little booth in the weight room here in the smith field house any longer. Normally I would be off right now however I had to switch shifts with this kid so he would work mine next week while I am in DC. Thus I am stuck, my mind has shut off and it is making it really hard to study for the statistics test that I have to take tommorow! Ugh well just throwing that all out there. Hopefully you all are doin better. Nate and Nicole anxiously awating the arrival of their new baby boy. Tye and amb counting down the hours untill they can leave their blessed chidlren adn take a much needed vacation. Chase awating the marriage to his beautiful bride, tawn waiting for her husband to return from the New Mexico game. Skippy just skipping along in life as a senior in high school and dad well being the support and ancor of this, the carlson clan. And mommy in DC already and hopfully enjoying the relaxation time. i love you all.

Back in P town

Well fam. once again fall is upon us! Which would not be as bad if there was fall weather however here in the land of hte righteous it could seriously not be any hotter. All I want to do is go out to the lake and wakeboard, however I am stuck in my new apt cleaning/organizing/decorating, buying books and over all getting ready for fall to come. Which it has though it does not feel like it! Well I never could have done it without our amazing mother she played the great assertive and at times ***** roll to get things done. Don't mess with her! Then we got to go to the Josh Groban concert which was amazing! Without knowing it I bought seventh row seats and we had Josh Groban walking right by us and then the security guards had us go to the front of the stage as they were filming his Awake tour video. Anyways a great concert for anyone seriously he is an amazing entertainer and way way funny, and you can't beat the music. Well here is a pic or two and I will try to send tye one of the video's I took so you can see.

Baby Boy Carlson

Here's our still nameless baby boy from our ultrasound on Monday. He's looking like he has some major Angelina Jolie pillow lips, but I'm guessing he was maybe puckering up a bit for the photo, because neither of us have lips like that!

Everything is looking good, so we're just counting down the days until he's finally here!!

A Plea...

It's Friday. I'm hot, very pregnant, and tired. I'm sitting in my little cubicle at work with some lovely fluorescent lighting overhead. Three people around me are crunching (or maybe chomping would be a better word?) out of control on various food items. From the sound of it I’d bet money that the woman in the cube in front of mine is munching on some crisp celery, the woman in the cube behind me is chomping a seemingly endless cup of ice, and the man in the cube across from me is crunching stale tortilla chips by the handful from last night’s Mexican dinner.

Me? I'm just staring at my computer about ready to jump out of my skin with all of the chomping/chewing/crunching/munching going on in my vicinity. Needless to say, I am in dire need of a distraction to help the day go by.

I check the Carlson family blog just HOPING to see an update from someone, anyone ... but alas, there are no updates since the last time Nate posted. Now I know you're all very busy with work, fun, etc. but please, for your bored and pregnant sister-in-law's sanity on a Friday afternoon at work, POST!!!
