Oh, those Baptists...

We are pretty sure this isn't a real sign, but it's still pretty funny. After seeing some of the signs on churches in Arkansas, it really isn't too far fetched!

Happy Birthday Jayci - Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad!

We love you guys! Hope all is well.

Happy Birthday, Queenie!!!

We Love You!!

My Little Mascot

Nicole had another ultrasound on Friday and here are a few shots of what I am now calling "my little mascot." I can't wait to meet this little guy in about 4 months! Enjoy the first pictures of this guy!

Bottoms up! As you can see he was heads-down the entire time making it hard to see his face. He was moving his legs and butt a lot which gave us great views of his "unit" (see last picture below).

The little guy was being very stubborn by not really showing a great view of his face and head (mom, I guess it is revenge on me that my little boy is already being stubborn and difficult with us!). If you look hard, you can see the profile of his face.

Here are the little guy's feet. It looks like he might have my fat "bear" feet.

As you can see, he was by no means being modest during the ultrasound.

Houston, we have a boy!

TUX Measurment Competetion!!!

Just for all those who were not lucky enough to be present when chase and dad got measured for their tux's I thought I would share the experience. We go to Men's Warehouse and chase is measured first. Typical measurements neck, arm length, chest ect. However with dad there it becomes this huge compettion for "who has the better measurements" if there is such a thing. Mom said the only thing missing would have been Nate to finnish off the group. Sorry skipper and tye you two have to make up your own league, (the extremely tall and skinny.) Anyways mom and I wished we had brought our camera, for the 53 year old battling the 22 year old for better "tux measurements." AHHHH don't we have a wonderful dad, event he most mundane becomes a competition or adventure!

Antawn

For those of you who don't already know... Antawn is not a combined ghetto name for Andrew and I. It is however the name of our beloved betta fish, who came into our home two months ago. We would appreciate all those people who offended Antawn to offer up apologies (we will accept fish food and water purifier tablets...he is also in need of a betta palace or other trees for his tank.)

Pics I couldn't add to the blog

So there were a few pics that I wanted to show you but was limited by the
number of pictures that you can attach to a blog post so here are a few more
cool one's.
87-Starting with a funny random sign that was in this chinese temple in
Cebu..... I thought that it would be a great poster for a dorm room:)
35-The infamous basketball courts in every little community
36-random guy climbing a coconut tree, (harder than it looks trust me)
44-Ok a total carlson picture at first glance, the guy is using a new type
of fuel, (coca-cola)
49-beign nerds atop the jeetnee
51-our oh so clean, high quality hotel room with two girls passed out on the
beds. Oh yeah the oldest and tallest girl, aka me... got to sleep on that
tiny, hard low to the ground pull out. THe sacrifices you make to keep
peace:)
52-My bohemian cousins with the dorag and sunglasses
54-our jeetnee, and our spot atop the jeetnee:) felt like we were in a
parade most the time.
65-Amazing view that is basically where ever you go over there.
69-Painter pete
76-Leaving our mark, don't worry its the back of a book shelf
79-Magaso Falls we jumped from the base of the tree at the very top, or
atleast jord and I did and all the phillipeano's watched disbelieving.
86-The resteraunt Joe's that we had to eat at twice because they actually
had a small AC room, a rare ocurance
88-Diet Coke whats that?????
94-THe massive game of duck duck goose that went on for about two hours at
the health clinic
10- These are called trikes, basically a cross between a scooter and a
motorcycle with a semi open, semi safe side car attached.
12-31- paradise?? NO its the Bohol Beach Club, or BBC for us regulars. Taz
flipped when he realized this is where daddy and I stayed last year.
19- Why do you ask did these three bathing beauties not put on any sunscreen
even though I was there to try to warn them?? They liked the can't move
blistered, lobster look.
43-Our hotel in Hong Kong, a swimming pool atop a 45 story building with a
single three foot high railing, wouldn't fly in the states but was amazing
over there.
47- The sky line from our hotle out acoss the bay, (that was boat is so big
it makes the city look tiny.)
Well hope I didn't bore you too much, I was excited to share these with you
all.
Can't wait to see everyone at Jo's wedding. Hope you all are staying healthy
and happy. Till the 30th:)
Queenie

tHe MiSsInG sIsTeR

Well family I have finally returned to provo after about a month and a half spout of traveling literally all over the world!! First home to colorado to babysit scott and lisa's kids for a week. Then off to Cali to babysit BC and Boss, next off to the Phillipeans with Taz, Kendel, Jordan and friend in tow. After a week of doing hard manual labor service we spent a day on the beach and then a short 17 hours in Hong Kong, doing as much shopping damage possible:) I wish I could recount the trip with as much humor as tye and taz are capable of but it was a successful trip and I completely enjoyed myself: worked hard, ate as little phillipeano food as possible (staying Solly sustained by mom's protein bars, THANKS MOM), swam in rivers and oceans alike ( my hair was never dry the whole trip, between swimming and sweat from the heat), went to family home evening at a members house that had 12 kids in a house no bigger than the newly converted crib closet in the basement of our house ( talk about a humbling experience, but they were the happiest people with some of the strongest testimonies I had seen over there), went to church, built permanent out houses, as for some reason the communities have basketball courts over there before they have a bathroom, repainted a hospital, went to a medical clinic with 1,000 patients waiting for us 50 volunteers ( overwhelming but an amazing experience, I helped run the pharmacy filling the prescriptions after deciphering the philipeano dr's handwriting, all while they were pulling teeth to my left, performing circumcisions behind me, and playing duck duck goose with all the little kids where ever they could find room in the gym amid all the lines of waiting sick phillipeano's) oh did I mention that in the Phillipeans they do circumcisions when the boys are 8-12 years old?!?!?!?!? yeah that was fun to watch:~That about sums it up. I will try to attach some of the coolest self explanatory pics. And tye sorry this is my first time posting the blog I just hooked up my comp at my new apt. (figured it was about time, only had the rest of my stuff here two months):) love you all.

A Very Serious Nate & Anya

Anya got quite the tube ride with Nate behind her telling the boat to speed up every time she said to slow down and with Clarke driving. Even worse though was when Clarke turned the steering wheel over to Tate entirely with very minimal (if any) supervision :)!

Tawny's Bridal Shower

Here are a couple of pictures from Tawny's bridal shower in Colorado this weekend. The second picture shows an embarrassed Tawny opening some lingerie in front of her future mother-in-law, sisters-in-law, and little cousins!
